How to Embed an Email List Subscription Form on your Website
Use embedded subscription forms to let visitors to your website subscribe to mailing lists managed by your MonkeyPod. You can customize each form to choose which lists are included and what data is collected. Then you'll embed the form on your own site with a snippet of HTML.
How do I set up a subscription form in my MonkeyPod?
To set up your subscription form, head on over to Email Outreach and then, under the "Lists & Campaigns" heading, choose Subscription Forms.
To create a new list, select Create a new subscription form. You can also modify the default subscription form available there.
To create a form, you will be asked for the following information:
Basics
This is where you give your form a name and select which lists should be present on the form for people to choose from.
Personal Information
This is where you choose which pieces of information you want to collect from your subscribers.
Roles
This is where you choose which roles people can choose when signing up on your email list
You can also choose how you want those roles to be displayed to potential email list signees!
Once you are done, click Save and get ready to embed the form on your website!
How do I embed my MonkeyPod form on my site?
Now that you have your form all set up, it's time to embed it. In the list of subscription forms, select the icon to copy the embed code for the form you want to embed.
Under the form, you will see two options:
- Copy embed code: By clicking this, your embed code is automatically copied and placed on your clipboard. From here, all you need to do is paste it on your site where you want the form to show up. Methods will vary depending on where your website is hosted.
- Preview form: Selecting this option allows you to see what the form is going to look like on your site.
