How to Use the Interaction Feed
Want to be able to use interactions to the fullest in your MonkeyPod? Look no further than the interactions feed!
What is the interactions feed in my MonkeyPod?
The interactions feed is a chronological listing of all of the interactions that have been logged in your MonkeyPod. It also includes a variety of filters to help you home in on what you're looking for!
You can find the Interactions feed by choosing Relationships > Interactions from the main menu.
Interactions can be filtered by date range, interaction type, the MonkeyPod user on your team who recorded the interaction, role of the supporter relationship, or tag.
In order to filter by tags, you'll need turn on the option to use tags for interactions. To do so, choose My MonkeyPod > Organization Settings from the main menu. Under the "Relationships" tab, select the option to allow tags on interactions.
You can also perform a variety of operations on the currently displayed list of interactions. Once you have the list filtered to show the results you're looking for, click the button for the action you want!
Options include:
- Export: Exports all the interactions in spreadsheet format. You have the option of exporting additional details about the relationship involved in each interaction.
- Subscribe To Mailing List: Adds the relationships involved in the interactions to the chosen mailing list, assuming that there is an email address in their record.
- Record a Bulk Interaction: Create an addition or edit to apply to all the matching relationships.
- Add to a Pipeline: Adds matching relationships to the pipeline selected.
- Assign a Role to All: Assigns a role to all the relationships in the matching interactions.
- Add as Campaign Prospects: Only available when Campaign Tracker is installed.
Getting insights from your interactions
Some of us love to dive into spreadsheets of data. Sometimes it's easier understand things visually. Either way, we've got you covered! If you want to visualize the data in the interaction feed, just click the "Insights" tab on the Interactions page to see a chart of interactions over time.
Here's just one example showing the volume of phone calls made throughout 2024 by a staff member.
You can specify the time period using the date selectors, and filter the interactions just as you would for the interaction feed, described above. But instead of seeing a list of results, your MonkeyPod will generate a chart for you of the number of interactions that fit your selection criteria over the chosen time period. How awesome is that?!
