Overview of Organization Settings
MonkeyPod allows you to customize several settings in order to configure your MonkeyPod and manage who can do what.
Where can I find my Organization Settings in my MonkeyPod?
You can find your Organization Settings under My MonkeyPod in the main menu.
- Organization Settings includes the general settings for your organization, such as your organization's MonkeyPod link, basic accounting conventions, formatting preferences for names in your Relationships pages, and organization branding to be used for Fundraising Pages and automatic Thank You emails. These settings are so important, we'll go over them in more detail below!
- Manage Users is where you go to enter a MonkeyPod User or change details about existing users.
- Permissions provides options to add and edit permission levels for those users.
- App Marketplace is where you'll find apps and integrations to extend the functionality of your organization's MonkeyPod.

What can I change in my MonkeyPod's Organization Settings?
Let's take a look at these organization settings a little more in depth.
From this area are in MonkeyPod you'll see five areas that you can change to suit the needs of your unique organization.
Basic Info
Basic Info shows you information about your organization such as your address, legal name, EIN, and your timezone.
MonkeyPod Access
MonkeyPod Access allows you to change the web address (URL) used for your MonkeyPod. Want to customize it to reflect the name of your organization? Enter the text you want here and click "Change Subdomain".
Accounting
Accounting is where you specify your fiscal year, whether or not you want to use Account Numbers in your Chart of Accounts, your organization's Standard Invoice Terms, and whether you would like MonkeyPod to automatically generate reference numbers used on invoices. You'll also have the option here to close your books after the end of your fiscal year once you have reconciled your transactions from that period.
Relationships
Want your relationships to be listed as Last, First instead of First, Last? That setting is here.
Want to use Tags to keep track of Interactions with people connected to your organization? Choose that option here. Learn more about how to use Tags to organize all sorts of information in your MonkeyPod.
Public-Facing Pages
Some MonkeyPod features (such as fundraising pages and donation receipts) generate content for your donors and other constituents. You can customize the look and feel of those pages to align with the branding of your organization by uploading your logo and setting a color scheme.
If you use Google Analytics, you can track visitor traffic to these public-facing pages by entering your Google Analytics Measurement ID here under Traffic Tracking.
