How MonkeyPod Uses AI

MonkeyPod uses AI selectively and thoughtfully, including it only where it meaningfully improves things in ways that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. Our goal is to save you time, surface insights more quickly, and reduce manual work. Importantly, AI analysis from MonkeyPod can never replace human judgment or decision-making.

Whenever AI is used in MonkeyPod, its use is clearly disclosed.  Look for the AI symbol to identify AI enhanced functionality:

AI interactions are handled through trusted infrastructure designed with strong security and confidentiality foremost. Your information remains private and protected. Neither MonkeyPod nor the AI models we integrate with use your proprietary data to train public AI models. Your data is not stored with third-party AI tools beyond the immediate use case, and your information is never shared or reused outside of providing the specific functionality you request.

Does MonkeyPod use AI everywhere in the product?

No. AI is used only in specific areas where it adds clear value and enables capabilities that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to offer. Most of MonkeyPod functionality has no connection to AI.

Will I always know when AI is being used?

Yes. MonkeyPod is explicit about when a feature is AI-assisted, using an AI badge to identify all such features.

Is my organization’s data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is not used to train public or shared AI models. Information processed by AI is used only to provide the feature you’re actively using and is not reused for model training.

Who handles MonkeyPod’s AI processing?

AI features in MonkeyPod are supported by trusted third-party infrastructure that is designed with strong security and privacy controls. Data is handled only as needed to perform the requested task and is not retained longer than necessary.

Can AI access all of my MonkeyPod data?

No. MonkeyPod only ever shares data with an AI model when it is explicitly requested by a user through one of our in-app features. AI only processes the specific information required to perform the task you initiate. It does not have open-ended access to all of your organization's data in MonkeyPod.

Can I opt out of AI features?

MonkeyPod is currently designed so that AI is additive, and not required for core functionality. If you don't want to use AI, you don't have to use the associated features. If you choose not to use AI-assisted features, you can still continue using MonkeyPod without them.
